We’re here to do two things: 1) help you tell your story and 2) show you around Austin.

Storytelling

I grew up several blocks from 8 mile road, the infamous physical and socioeconomic barrier separating Detroit and its suburbs. My high school was ranked in the bottom 5% of public schools in the state of Michigan. After delivering my valedictorian speech and upon receiving a Pell Grant, among other scholarship funds, I enrolled in  and graduated from Michigan State University with a Bachelors degree in Finance.

After spending several years in finance and receiving my MBA from the University of Chicago, I decided to attend law school at SMU Dedman School of Law in Dallas, Texas, where my fiancé was a first-grade elementary teacher. During law school, I had the opportunity to work on various political campaigns as well as the Clemency Project 2014. In fact, I took a semester off from law school to work on sending clemency applications to former President Obama.

Currently, I am the Diversity Columnist for AbovetheLaw.com, the most popular website in the legal profession. I also work as In-House Counsel for Ottobock, a prosthetics company that helps people with disabilities maintain and regain their freedom of movement.

As a diversity and inclusion writer and activist attorney, I focus on empowering others to challenge the status quo.

We are small, but mighty. Each tour is curated and kept to an intimate group. So your trip will be intimate, relaxed, casual, and most importantly fun!

Might I recommend disc golf?

Frisbee or disc golf is a sport anyone can play.  Whether you are by yourself, on a date, with your friends, or hanging with your family, disc golf is a great, casual sport anyone can bond over. Just make sure you duck, when someone yells “fore”!

If you have any questions, or are ready to play a round, drop us a line.

And be sure to check out our recent tails and tours!
